Islamabad, August 10; The fifth session of the Youth Parliament Pakistan was scheduled from Wednesday August 05 to Sunday August 09, 2009. This was the last session for the second Youth Parliament. The session was presided over by Mr. Wazir Ahmed Jogezai, Former Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan and an esteemed member of the Youth Parliament Steering Committee. The parliament discussed: Pakistan’s Relations with India and Afghanistan, How the British Parliament works, and Culture in Pakistan. Chatham House, both the name of the building and the name by which the Institute is widely known, is a leading think tank with a mission to be a world-leading source of independent analysis, informed debate and influential ideas on how to build a prosperous and secure world for all. London, July 22; The Youth Parliamentarians, currently on a Study Visit to London, interacted with the officers of the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office here today and shared their concerns and ideas on UK’s relations with Pakistan and the UK’s foreign policy. Islamabad, June 12, 2009: The fourth session of Youth Parliament Pakistan was scheduled from Wednesday May 06 to Sunday 10, 2009 at Hotel Margala Islamabad. The fourth session of the Youth Parliament was presided over by Mr. Wazir Ahmed Jogezai, Former Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan and an esteemed member of the Youth Parliament Steering Committee. The parliament discussed: Impact of National & International Media on Pakistani Society, Terrorism and its Impact on Cricket and Local Governments: Review and Reform. In addition to these, arrest of Pakistani students in the UK, soft-loan policy with easy documentation process for youth to pursue their education in the country and abroad were also a part of the agenda and were discussed in the house.
