Waqas Aslam Rana belongs to district Khanewal. He was born on August 7, 1984. He graduated from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2007 with a B.Sc (Hons.) in Economics. He is currently working in Islamabad for HSBC Bank. Waqas was part of the LUMS Model UN society, and represented Pakistan at the International Model UN conference at Vienna, Austria in March 2007. He was also captain of the LUMS Rugby Team in his senior year. He twice represented his school in the all Pakistan Parliamentary-Style Debates at Lahore, in 1999 and 2000. He had been a regular contributor to school and college magazines on political issues. He intends to pursue higher education in finance. His prime areas of interest are foreign affairs, law and finance. |
