| Brief Profile | |||
Born on November 1, 1985, Maria got education at Convent of Jesus & Mary and then at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Math. She is currently doing MS in Accounts & Finance from Kinnaird College and is teaching there as well. Maria intends to develop her expertise in Financial Mathematics to work for the elimination of financial crisis the country is in. She has been a part of the International Summer Institute for Young Student Leaders in 2007 held by the U.S. State Dept. in the United States. Maria interned at State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi in 2006. For the last few years, she has also been associated with the annual Red Crescent Blood Camp held at her College. Maria also writes occasionally for newspapers and magazines. Her areas of interest are women development, finance, foreign and youth affairs. |
