After the earthquake of 2005, she served Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) as a French-English interpreter. Later in March 2006, she joined the Cuban Medical Camp, Abbottabad and served as a Coordinator as well as Urdu-Spanish Interpreter. She has represented Pakistan internationally in the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) General Assembly meeting at U.K. During her internship at Ministry of Economic Affairs & Statistics, she did extensive study on Millennium Development Goals, Working of UN Agencies in Pakistan, Economic Policy of Pakistan and Budget of the financial year 2007-08. She has voluntarily served Frontier Rural Development Programme for a period of six months. She is an active Rotarian and is currently acting as the Director of Children Grooming Centre, Peshawar. In future she plans to join politics. Her fields of interest include foreign Affairs, defence, youth and economic affairs. |
