Syed Ansar Hussain belongs to Ghangche, Gilgit Baltistan. He was born on December 15, 1984. He completed M.Sc. in Economics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and Bachelors degree in Law from University of the Punjab. He has the honor of representing the Young generation of Pakistan and Gilgit Baltistan in the Youth Parliament of Pakistan. With a track record of community development activities, he was selected for ISFIT (International Student Federation in Trondheim) as the youth delegate from Pakistan. He was active in various extra-curricular activities at his University. He hopes that Youth Parliament will prepare him for leadership in future as he wants to contribute for the political and economic development of the Northern Areas. He takes interest in grassroots development, legislative process, human rights and equitable economic development. As member YP, he participated in media talk shows advocating constitutionalism and rule of law in Pakistan. His eloquent debates and resolutions highlighted the denial of fundamental rights to marginalized region of Gilgit Baltistan and socio-economic predicaments of Pakistan. Inspired by the ideals of public service, he is currently serving the Central Bank of Pakistan. The Youth Parliament experience has added vigor to his motivation to contribute to national development. |
