Syed Waqas Ali Kausar belongs to District Poonch in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. He was born on October 15, 1986. Currently he is a student of M.Sc. in Good Governance & Organizational Sciences at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. He has completed his Graduation in Modern Languages (French & English) from the same university. During his stay at NUML, he was declared as the Best Debater of the Year 2006-07. He has undertaken many projects relating to governance. He completed 3 months internship with the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) at Rawalakot. He also worked with Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority (ERRA) on Community Livelihood Rehabilitation Support Programme (CLRSP) from May 10 to August 11, 2008. In sports he has been AJK Under-19 & Intercollegiate Badminton Champion in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He is also serving as the General Secretary of Jammu Kashmir Student Movement (JKSM). |
