RESOLUTION

Ms. Hira Batool Rizvi (YP15-NWFP03) to move the following resolution:

 “This House is of the opinion that the Government of Pakistan should exercise its jurisdiction to examine the legitimacy of the Petroleum Development Levy Ordinance as it violates the rights of the citizens to life, liberty, safety and social justice.”

MOTION

Mr. Raheel Sher Khan Niazi (YP43-PUNJAB24) to move the following motion:

"This House may discuss the government's strategy regarding the rehabilitation of IDPs focusing only on short term measures while not throwing any light on long-term steps."

MOTION

Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Zaidi (YP53-SINDH05) to move the following motion:

“This House may discuss the two-nation theory and the ideological basis of Pakistan and the groundwork for the ethical case made for the creation of Pakistan.”

Mr. Nishat Ul Hasan Kazmi (YP20-PUNJAB01) and Mr. Mohsin Saeed (YP29PUNJAB10) to move the following resolution:

“This House strongly condemns the recent violence in Gojra and asks the Government to highlight facts and personalities behind this tragic incident.”

RESOLUTION

Mr. Zameer Ahmed Malik (YP50-SINDH02) and Mr. Asad Asghar Janjua (YP37-PUNJAB18) to move the following resolution:

“This House is of the opinion that any proposal of division of provinces especially Punjab on the basis of language and ethnicity is rejected.”

RESOLUTION

Mr. Sufian Ahmed Bajar (YP39-PUNJAB20) to move the following resolution:

“This House is of the opinion that General (Retd) Pervez Musharaf should be tried under Article 6 of the Constitution, for suspending the Constitution and overthrowing an elected government. This act would impede any future attempts to derail democracy in Pakistan.”

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

Mr. Mohsin Saeed (YP29-PUNJAB10) invites the attention of the Honourable Youth Prime Minister to the foreign intervention in Balochistan and Swat region.

Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Zaidi (YP53-SINDH05) to move the following resolution:

“This House is of the opinion that the operation that started from Malakand should immediately be extended to the WANA and all militants be apprehended. This House negates the possibility of any negotiations with the militants.”

“This House is of the opinion that it believes in the study and use of alternate energy resource to alleviate the energy crisis of Pakistan.”

“This House may discuss the need to focus on better training of law enforcement and civil defense forces to blunt the impact of terrorism in the country.”

“This House is of the opinion that Government of Pakistan should cease the culture of nepotism in Government departments.”

“This House is of the opinion that it would take steps to make the International Community recognize Durand Line as an International Border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.”

"This House is of the opinion that Pakistani Government should use all diplomatic resources to pressurise India into following the water treaty as to avoid the water hoarding being practiced by India.”

Mr. Abdullah Khan Leghari (YP48-PUNJAB29) to move the following motion:

“This House may discuss the implications on the peace process and the diplomacy channels of the meeting at the Sherm El Sheikh Conference, Egypt between Pakistan-India Premiers.”

“This House is of the opinion that it calls upon the democratic dispensation to immediately take concrete steps for granting constitutional recognition and provincial status to Northern Areas of Pakistan in compliance with the Supreme Court’s decision in Al-Jihad Trust case so as to bring the region out of the political limbo in which it has been entangled since its unconditional accession.”

“The House is of the opinion that the potential of Pakistani Youth is not being utilized at optimum & the system is forcing them to leave the country and work abroad.”

Mr. Niaz Muhammed (YP04-BALOCHISTAN02) to move the following resolution:

“This House is of the opinion that Board of intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta should not put a compulsion on young girls to give pictures on Admission forms as Balochistan Tribes do not allow photographs of girls to be on forms, and due to this condition young female ratio of education will be decreased.”
